SkillfulGorilla builds and operates software products. We're not for hire. We build things we believe in and ship them to real users.
We're based in Northern Ireland, working at the intersection of AI and practical software. Our products serve real needs, from property search to community services, built with modern technology and operated with care.
We're deliberately small. No account managers, no project managers, no layers between the people who design and the people who build. The same people do both, which means fewer handoffs, faster decisions, and better products.
AI is part of how we work, not just what we build. It makes us faster without cutting corners. When we say AI-native, we mean it's embedded in our process, from research to development to deployment.

What we believe
Principles that guide how we work
We have strong opinions about how software should be built. These aren't marketing statements. They're how we actually operate.
- Ship real things. Prototypes and demos don't count. Software isn't real until it's in the hands of users solving actual problems.
- AI as a tool, not a trend. We use AI because it makes us more effective, not because it's fashionable. When AI doesn't help, we don't use it.
- Small by design. We don't want to scale. A small team of senior people can move faster and make better decisions than a large team ever could.
