The problem
Finding funeral information should not be difficult during an already challenging time. There is a single place to search, but we found it hard to use. The search is not intuitive, not fast, and not modern.
This is not an AI product. It is a public information service that we felt should exist. Funeral notices are public information that serves a community need. We built it because it felt like the right thing to do.
What it does
Funerals NI collects and presents funeral notices from funeral directors across Northern Ireland in one searchable place. Families can share detailed notices with multiple images, service times, and venue information.
Each notice supports up to ten images in an animated carousel, complete funeral arrangement details including service, committal, and wake information, plus flowers and donations instructions.
Individual notices
Each notice has its own page with full details, image gallery, service times, and venue information. Clean URLs make sharing easy.

- JWT-authenticated REST API for funeral directors and third-party integrations. Full CRUD operations with JSON:API specification compliance.

Funeral director dashboard
Funeral directors get their own dashboard to create and manage notices. Draft and publish workflows, private notices for internal use, and full control over their listings.
